The way I have a tinfoil hat moment regarding Crocodile’s powers.
The only way I can make sense of his power is if they work on “contained moisture”. People/solids have limited water he can extract, but water itself is too much and just overwhelms him, turning his sand into mud.

Crocodile's powers are contradictory af. he has the power to dry anything he touches into dust, but can't immediately dry water when he comes into contact with it, which causes him to lose most of his power? make it make sense
