This is probably my favorite Ghibli film
The unveiling of the ruins of the hidden, floating sky fortress of Laputa at the end really makes the film a masterpiece
It has very nice soundtrack and was inspired by Jonathan Swift's "Gulliver's Travels" too!

Of all the Studio Ghibli talk that arises here, I have never seen much praise or reverence for 1986's Castle in the Sky. This was Studio Ghibli's first film. Sky Pirates, Airships, Lost civilizations, beautiful set pieces, it has it all.
