@maria_avdv They were Ukranian tanks and they did not stop them. Ukranians killed many civilians during the invasion into Czechoslovakia. Also must be mentioned Ukraine stole a big chung of Czechoslovakia's land.

@RosettaAtchley5 @Sachinettiyil Could be, I have read about itinerary a Dutch newspaper.
English

@Sachinettiyil I was told by a Catholic that some Protestants come to get Catholic Ashes during Lent, but not stay for Mass. Is that happening?
English

Europe becoming Catholic again?
Catholic churches and cathedrals were filled with so many people attending Ash Wednesday Mass this week across France, with French media outlet Famille Chrétienne reporting that this unprecedented influx included a significant presence of young people.

@MattWalshBlog Actually, Levi Strauss, the inventer of jeans was Jewish from Buttenheim in Oberfranken, Germany.
English

1) Black people did not invent braids. White people have been braiding their hair for thousands of years.
2) White people can much more credibly claim that jeans, sneakers, electricity, cars, planes, refrigerators, air conditioning, etc, belong to us because we actually did originate them. Fortunately for every other race, though, cultural appropriation is a nonsense concept. You don’t get to claim ownership of the things that your race invented.

Black woman tells a white girl she can't have braids, what you think?

@MattityahuNew @BoudicaThe @RealJakeBroe My children lost Dutch citizenship when they became 18 years of age. They needed to live in The Netherlands for some period of time before that dead line.
English

@BoudicaThe @RealJakeBroe That's my situation..
But they blocked me cause they said after age 31 it's not possible.
English

@EricRSammons I am a reformed protestant and never heard this nonsense that you stated.
English

@ConradEduard @EricRSammons Here a quote from Puritan John Owen: "BELIEVERS OUGHT TO MAKE THE MORTIFICATION OF INDWELLING SIN THEIR DAILY WORK".
English

It's consistent with the once saved-always-saved and faith-alone mentality. It is one of the most distasteful aspects of protestantism. No desire or even a need to work at becoming a better person. No desire to cooperate with God's graces. All of that is not only unnecessary, but it is wrong. Imagine it being wrong for a religion to tell you it's wrong to have traditions focused on becoming a better person.

@Lyla41538339 @Mikeggibbs My village in The Netherlands was liberated by the Canadian Manitoba Dragoons on April 5, 2045. Just saying. Just in time before a German deadsquad wanted to execute some random civilians.
English

@Mikeggibbs Big deal. If it wasnt for the USA Britain would be Germany today, not impressed, moved or even care.
English

@oohsinoz @WarClandestine Would you agree to give away a quarter of your country after being invaded?

Zelensky just gave Trump a golden ticket.
Now Trump has the optics to shut down all aid to Ukraine, turn up the heat on the investigation into the money laundering, and negotiations with Putin just got easier.
This was a massive turning point for public perception of Ukraine, and I’d argue we are now closer to peace, now that Trump no longer has to worry about being seemingly supportive of Ukraine. He can come to terms with Putin, and Zelensky will remain at the kid’s table while the adults determine his fate.
Today, the veil was lifted.

English

@vonderleyen You need to be one voice in order to stand up to tRump and demand to be at the peace table with Ukraine. I really hope you have something that will appeal to tRump when @Keir_Starmer meets him next week.
English

Today in Paris we reaffirmed that Ukraine deserves peace through strength.
Peace respectful of its independance, sovereignty, territorial integrity, with strong security guarantees.
Europe carries its full share of the military assistance to Ukraine.
At the same time we need a surge in defence in Europe.

@NiohBerg I went there a few years ago and saw what we did there and this church called the "Frauenkirch" is a catholic church that they rebuilt with the original stones left from the bombing raid is really something to see. You can Google it and see what I'm talking about.

@Rainmaker1973 💯all those who grew up in smart cities won`t know the name of the animal.
English

@roddreher @AlexandreD36952 In The Netherlands the Roman Catholic church even collapsed more quickly. Same in Belgium recently. I am living in Hungary and see it coming here as well. Young people are leaving.
English

@AlexandreD36952 The Netherlands is not entirely Catholic. And the collapse began before the Council. I hate it, obvs, but that’s how it is.

@Truedeviant324 @nonarkara @InternetH0F These 3 languages sound completely different from eachother. (I have been in Japan several times and worked with Koreans and chineese)
English

@nonarkara @InternetH0F The only way people can tell is if they have some level of familiarity with the language
I can tell Japanese because I’ve learned some basics and just hear it a lot. Can kind of tell Chinese because it feels pretty distinct. No idea where Korean fits in and that’s just 3
