@EhEhXCX_ I actually came to this with an unbiased approach, I think the album is far too long, I've never been a fan of her vocals (even tho I did listen to Mel in like 2018) and the lyrics to chatroom is a terrible way of dealing with her controversies... 🙁
English

Too long, too little variety for its length, annoying vocals, deals with her controversy in a horrendous way
But I still have heard worse albums

@naremaea as cathy's we need to sit this "fan war beef" out, it's breaching outside of twitter and things are getting messy.

sometimes even though you enjoy an album it ends up being boring fast, and this one is the case. it's not a bad listen actually but the tracks are too long

Slayyyter talking about how intitally she was planning to quit after releasing her latest album:
– “Well, my plan was to quit after. I had a really weird period while starting this project. My deal [with FADER Label] ended, STARF---ER came out, nothing really happened. I had all these expectations, which is like, number one rule — never have expectations when releasing music, ever. It's never going to do what you want it to do. I was approaching 29, getting called an up-and-coming artist for the eighth year running. It gets to your head, and you're like, "Maybe this isn't for me."
I have so many other interests and hobbies, and I was like, if this is not sustainable, I should make one more album and then consider doing something else, and still make music but just figure something out. I felt very depressed and disappointed.
Making this project, I'd be like, "I'm going to treat this like it's the last album I'll ever make." I was really interested in making something I would be proud to leave behind, that my younger self would think was cool, that felt like me. Obviously, things have changed. I signed [to RECORDS] after getting most of the album completed, and then I was like, "Maybe I'll make more albums." I am a drama queen.”

Slayyyter about “I’m actually kinda famous”:
– “It came from this really funny personal situation of coming to New York and going to bars, and there would be these girls from my boyfriend's past or whatever who would come and try to get his attention and snicker. I would get so annoyed. Obviously there's nothing I could do, but I started to get really angry. I wrote two songs about those kinds of situations on the project, that and “OLD FLINGS.”
I'm totally not someone that's like, "Do you know who I am?" That is not in my persona. But sometimes when I would get drunk, I would just be like, "I'm, like, a star." The whole song feels like a parody. It's not meant to be like, "I'm the s---." It's almost a joke, like, I'm actually kind of famous, but not really.”
