Here's what happened. Iran launched 300+ ballistic missiles; among them were suicide drones from Iran, Iraq, and Yemen towards Israeli cities. Israeli Air Force fighter jets including F-35, F-16 and more technology got up in the air using Jordanian airspace to intercept most of the missiles midair - the missiles that were not intercepted were shot down by the Iron Dome when they entered Israeli airspace.
