BLHS added a 10-0 run early in the 2nd half to go up 57-27, before Sleepy Eye St. Mary's went on a 16-4 run to cut it back down to 61-43. BLHS used another 10-pt run to build their lead back to 30 at 86-56 late in the game before SESM scored the final 6 as BLHS takes the 86-62 sectional semifinal victory. My daughter was asked that one question most kids get after a game “how many points did you score”? Her response: “I don’t know…to be honest I really don’t focus on that. I’m a point guard so taking care the ball and defending is where I focus because I control that every game. If a scoring opportunity is there then I take it. I can tell you that no one I guarded scored double digits , I got my teammates the ball in position to score and I only had 1 turnover in two games” Proud dad moment! 🫶🏾👏🏾 #ProudDad
