@nataliemaybee i usually slather ointment over the wound and bandage to (hopefully) prevent it or shower with the bandage on so the water seeps in and softens the scab so it hurts less to pull off

I hate bandages cuz I always rip off the scab when taking them off. IT HURTS

@nataliemaybee You have to use non-adhesive gauze pads; they're made specifically for not ripping your scabs off
