Last week I was at @World_Museum drawing, photographing, & conducting RTI on objects from early NK Saqqara burials. The objects have waited since their move from @TheEES in 1969 for a moment in the spotlight! ✨ Thanks @EgyptCurator for your help! @oeai_oeaw @FWF_at

I was at @bristolmuseum this week to study objects from early NK Saqqara burials. I matched another pot to its exact findspot thanks to photos in @TheEES from Emery’s 1950’s excavations. These burials, now scattered across the UK, are being reassembled! @FWF_at @oeai_oeaw

Last week I recorded objects at @mcrmuseum from a group of early NK burials at Saqqara that reveal what seems to be a unique ‘community of practice’ in #Egypt. It was a successful trip & I’m grateful to the curators, @egyptmcr & Susan Martin, for their help & good company!
