I’ve given up alcohol several times (dry January, lent twice, and core AIP diet for 4 months) and never felt any different
I’m sure there are marginal health benefits, but honestly given the social cost and downsides I’m not convinced it’s a net benefit

Demand popping again in Nashville. I'm now expecting contracts to pop 10% vs last year.
This has more to do with last year losing hundreds of buyers due to "Liberation Day" than a structural change in demand IMO.
If it tracks a similar pattern to 2024 we should see a run rate of ~2,800 vs ~2,500 last year.
What do you think? Will it happen?

I’ve seen this take everywhere, so I’ll just say it: Sam Levinson is one of the two or three best auteurs working in television. He is also clearly right-wing sympathetic, as evidenced by the myriad dog whistles contained within his shows. This is essentially the "woke right" inversion of the progressive critiques we used to see; the ostensible moral violations levied against artists now adopt conservative rhetoric but function the same way—as arbitrary moral preening masquerading as art criticism.
