There are many versions of a myth, yes, but it's important to stick with one because making up something completely different will confuse audiences that are relatively new to the myth itself. Yes, that includes mischaracterization and a wrong representation of a deity, and more.

Inilah kenapa aku super picky sama mythology retelling ataupun adaptation. I prefer the historically accurate ones, even if they reimagined the myth a certain way. I truly dislike mischaracterization, let alone mixing up a god with another god. Like, wdym??

Yet, these are the same kind of people who are mad because other people "got it easy in life" because they struggled differently and expects us to struggle like them too.

I've had people telling me I'll never be anything because I'm not built like them, see the world like them, or act and talk like them. They call themselves smart but lack the understanding that people does not have the same resources, opportunities, experiences, and privileges.

One, if not the only type of people I hate violently in my heart, are those who thinks people who are different than them does not deserve good things in life.
