Meet the white-browed tit-warbler, the bird with a beautiful rainbow color. Such a gorgeous creature. It's hard to believe it's real.

After the release of "Support Your Local Sheriff!" (1969), James Garner told an interviewer that Walter Brennan was “the consummate professional who respects everyone in the production. He does his thing, and you know what to expect. You don’t have to worry about him doing things behind your back.” When Garner was asked again for a comment on Walter Brennan, he replied, “He was old before he actually was & he was an unbelievably talented actor. He was a very nice guy.” Brennan’s memories of the picture were pleasant. He enjoyed working with director Burt Kennedy, also “a nice guy,” and seemed pleased to be playing a “dirty old man.” Garner remembered that Brennan was the first actor he had ever seen use cards: “He knew the dialogue and never flubbed a line, but I guess he just needed to know that his words were there as backup. He put a card up here and another down there and just kind of glanced at them to make sure. You couldn’t tell, though.” Brennan also had a great deal of respect for the lines as written. Even in old age, he refrained from indulging an actorly desire to “improve a script.” The major exception, of course, had been his work with Howard Hawks, who treated screenplays as a template designed to be modified. ("A Real American Character: The Life of Walter Brennan", Carl Rollyson, 2015) P.S: Remembering the great American actor Walter Brennan on his 132nd birthday!

@Carlos__Turcios @DallasExpress Nothing surprises me. We live next to the airport. Uber app says "John" will p/u, screen on dash says he's "Rohit". Many drivers cannot speak, understand, read english or a map. Has 3 phones, constantly checks. Its scary. N. TX is unrecognizable. Our TX gov't allowed it.

In Switzerland, autumn brings a charming tradition — cows adorned with vibrant flowers and clanging bells are led down from alpine pastures to the valleys, marking their return for winter.

@ScottMcCreaWest Blew me away when I watched Poseidon Adventure in High School, and then as an adult it seemed kind of cheesy. But there was Shelly Winters, who is just amazing.
