DO NOT reply to Razer Gold claiming to be affiliated with @LiveSmart. They call via Viber and claim you won a phone. They will send you an OTP via text using Smart’s number and will ask for the OTP. You will be charged P1,000 for that. IT IS A SCAM. Ano na @LiveSmart ?!

Siya at mga korap na dinastiya at mga reaksyunaryong paksyon sa pulitika, ang tunay na problema. At walang legislation o legal proceedings ang maaaring mag-remedyo sa problemang ito. Tanging makapangyarihang pagkilos ng taubmayan ang solusyon.

Baka dapat baguhin na niya ang mantra. "Ako ang nagsimula, pero ako ang matatapos." Sa pinakahuling hakbang ni Marcos, lalo lang niyang inipit ang sarili, lalo niyang pinalala ang krisis. Hindi pa rin niya nakikita na siya mismo ay bahagi ng problema.

Halata namang nagpipilit si Marcos Jr na makabawi mula sa sunod-sunod na hambalos sa kanya ng mga alegasyon ng kurapsyon na nagresulta sa pagbaba ng approval rating niya sa 21%. Kailangang maglabas ng bagong inisyatiba para ipakitang "ako ang nagsimula at ako ang magtatapos."

Ano man ang dahilan, tiyak na matagal nang nakahanda ang Makabayan upang isulong ang mga panukalang ito. Ilalaban natin ito sa mga committee hearings, sa plenary votes at sa lansangan. Kapag hindi nakapasa ang makabuluhang batas, lalong magmumukhang "lame duck" ang pangulo.

Ang totoo, kinailangan pa ng isang malalang krisis sa pulitika na tumatama sa pinakatuktok ng gobyerno bago ginawang prayoridad ang mga ito ni Marcos. Kinailangan pang tumalim ang krisis sa kredibilidad ng anti-corruption efforts ni Marcos bago siya gumalaw.

Matagal nang isinusulong ng Makabayan ang mga panukalang batas para ipagbawal ang political dynasties, ireporma ang patylist system na na-highjack na ng mga mayayaman, ang higit na transparency sa gobyerno at mas mahigpit na pananagutan ng mga opisyal nito. (cont)

Any outcome that seeks to use working people and the poor as mere pawns while the same ruling classes reap all the benefits is not real change. And any outcome that will use martial law, a state of emergency against ALL forms of dissent will only add fuel to the crisis.

Any outcome that seeks to install the current Vice President as the new President will not be for the benefit of the people. Any outcome that seeks to impose a military junta will not be for the benefit of the people.

Corruption and the squabbling among the ruling elite are some of the actual causes of “destabilization”. The nation is already destabilized by the unmitigated thievery in government. It will be further destabilized by wholesale fascist repression and selective accountability.
