@DuckedyDooDah @junodawson @thebearcametoo Indie bookshops are the best, those poor selections we do stock (bc sadly they get requested) are usually hidden on the shelf, with ‘woke’ (aka well written, imaginative, informative, inclusive, and relevant books) having pride of place and top of our recommendations❤️

@AdultingADHD Can I ask, is being able to tell an ADHD thing? For those sims players out there, I’ve always been able to visualise it as one of those mood bar things sims have, slowly sliding and changing colour from green to red😂

Idk how to explain it but I feel like I can predict when I’m going to burnout. I think of my burnout levels like a phone battery percentage. I know when my burnout levels are at 15% vs when it’s at 75%. There’s certain things I do and the way my body reacts (like eye twitching)

@hxnnxhwrites Some of the vet nurses I work with were getting low and worrying too. And the stockpilers will be the first to complain if they can’t see a GP / have to homeschool / have to wait at the vets 🙃

I had my first student off today due to having no fuel. Just FYI if you stockpiled fuel, you could have taken a day of a child's education from them. A doctor's day at the GP. A carer's day at a care home. A teacher's day from their students. It's incredibly selfish.

Two weeks of placement in the vets and it’s easily one of the hardest but best things I’ve ever done. Genuinely beyond excited to make a career in vet nursing😍

Cannot wait to be a full time vet nurse😌
