building in public: day 80 618/1000 active paying subs active paying subscribers are dipping - sub retention is harder after we removed the free trial and shifted focus to annual plans. it's a deliberate tradeoff to better understand when users actually churn and why. we're now figuring out how to fix it. my focus right now is organic growth. what i'm doing today: - iterating on creatives targeting our paying core audience - building a viral sharing feature - referrals have our highest conversion rates by far - fixed a major auth bug that was definitely costing us paying users - shoutout to the users who reached out to support, you helped us catch it fast also - still cracking the tiktok and instagram code. X is going well (1.5M views in the last 2 weeks) but video is a different game. actively experimenting with carousels and AI creators let's go 🚀
