Whilst casually tucking into my breakfast, I noticed I wasn't the only one doing so. Out of my living room window I noticed this Goshawk chasing a Pheasant. As you'd imagine, the Pheasant was no match for the phantom of the forest, but it did leave a good tale (feather) to tell.

Great to see the fox on the trail cams again last night. It certainly seems wary of the camera though, which leads us to believe that the 'invisible' light is not so invisible. #fox #TwitterNatureCommunity

@GwynethDavies9 😀 It took a few attempts to stop the camera from clouding up, even with the Rain X but I went out quite late last night and gave it a wipe, which helped a lot. Now we just need to get even better shots! I'll put on the full videos some time.

We want to encourage our fox visitor but the cats ate its small treat so all it was left with was peanuts. I can think of worse visitors to clear up the excess bird food 😀. #foxes #TwitterNatureCommunity

@NickyJaneHead1 Haha! Good jobs done😀.I was going to try to get an hour's sleep then saw loads of birds in the trees & thought I'd do the birdwatch then instead. Who needs sleep anyway? I think your sister's crazy active babies will pop out like aliens soon rather than wait for labour 👽👽

@nature_uk Nope, not yet. I’ve put the washing on and have done the washing up though 👍🏻 I also keep staring at my phone, just in case my lovely sister texts to say she’s in labour! 😉

@NickyJaneHead1 Haha thanks! It's very dull weather today and I stuck on the 2x converter to get the cheeky blackcap who was hiding at the end of the garden so definitely not the best photos ever 😀. Have you done your birdwatch yet?
