Genuine question for anyone building with AI right now: with Gemini 3.5 Flash and Mercury 2 hitting 1,000+ tok/s, would you rather a slower, smarter model that nails it one-shot, or a fast one that drafts, checks itself, and retries in a loop? Smart or fast?
