@Cthulhu_OwO And then people can say they ripping off Palworld now. Win for both sides.

@mandanduno This is gonna be another D&D movie where people regret not watching it in theater/letting it bomb 😭

…is this a real scene from that movie?

@spencer_smoked @k1rallik It is pretty fun on rewatch or if we are totally invested in the story. 4DX is only like 7 USD on weekly promo days like Wednesday. Pretty good deal for an average rollercoaster ride while enjoying some booze and food.
English

@k1rallik I absolutely HATED 4dx
My brother and I found it HILARIOUS the first couple of times we threw our popcorn all over our surrounding peers but trying to watch a movie and ride a roller coaster at the same time is a decision I instantly regretted

PEOPLE ARE WATCHING THE ODYSSEY IN CHAIRS THAT SHAKE AND SPRAY WATER
A viral video from a 4DX screening of The Odyssey shows seats shaking so hard during a storm scene that the caption warned people to avoid it.
People are now booking tickets because of that warning.
- 4DX seats tilt, shake, and vibrate in sync with the movie
- Wind, water, and fog blast the audience during the biggest scenes
- Only 41 theaters worldwide show the film exactly as Nolan shot it
- Over 700 4DX theaters exist worldwide, doing the complete opposite
Nolan spent three years fighting to protect a single frame of film. Somewhere, a theater chain is spraying water on it instead.

@daniel_adinnu Contrary to online Poke'mon fanatics, a lot of Poke'mon fans (including me) are also enjoying it since it is an upgrade rather than a rip off. People stick around and still play simply because it was fun even without fomo gimmicks like dailies or seasons.

A week before its 1.0 launch, Palworld was peaking around 58,000 concurrent players on Steam. Fine for a two-year-old game. Nothing to build a comeback story on. Then the full release dropped, and the number climbed to 961,867, a 1,700% jump in a single month, and it’s done it twice in two weekends, not once.
That second weekend is the part worth sitting with. Anyone can pop for a launch. Palworld knocked Dota 2, a Steam institution running for over a decade, down to third place for a second consecutive weekend, trailing only Counter-Strike 2. Only five other games in Steam’s history have ever crossed a million concurrent players at all: Counter-Strike 2, Monster Hunter Wilds, Lost Ark, Dota 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Every one of those, except Cyberpunk, is free to play. Palworld charges for entry and is still keeping company with games that don’t.
None of this happens in a vacuum. Palworld launched under an active patent lawsuit from Nintendo and The Pokémon Company, built on the exact “Pokémon with guns” premise that made it famous in the first place. The people writing the checks to play it aren’t confused about the resemblance. They’re playing anyway, in numbers that suggest the lawsuit is background noise to players who just wanted the full version of a game they’d already decided they liked two years ago.
Nobody remembers the 58,000. Everyone’s about to remember the million.

Palworld is having a huge comeback. Less than two weeks after the full 1.0 release, the game reached almost 1 million players online at the same time on Steam. During its launch, it even passed Counter-Strike 2 for a short time to become Steam’s most-played game. Pocketpair’s communications and publishing lead, John “Bucky” Buckley, said the success has been “life-changing” for the studio. He thanked players for their support and said the team is very grateful for how well the game has been received.

Keep updating and optimizing it on a consistent basis and you'll find that it'll settle into becoming one of the greats among survival games such as Rust, ARK, etc
I've had to wait for this heatwave to stop as my PC runs too hot during gameplay, but it looks like I might finally be able to play in a few days 🫡 Crossing my fingers
