D11 5A Semi-Finals: "[The inches] we need are in every break of the game." -Pacino, Any Given Sunday @ZephyrsFootball forced ESS to punt on opening drive. Cue @talon_dogmanits on a big PR to get it started, w/@nazavier41203 being a football player & ready if TD cuts back. TD did & NC laid perfect block* to spring TD. Whitehall's 1st play on O, another big play, @Justinhussett_ 28-yd TD run; 7-0 lead. (Note: Hussett is a very good 1a option at RB, has FCS interest, w/@jeziahgregory13 ineligible for playoffs due to BS PIAA transfer rules) ESS was much better than their record; lost to a lot of good 6A teams. ESS had a lead vs. Whitehall in regular season game & they were in the game into 2nd half. ESS lead 22-21 in Q3 last night; that did not surprise me. I know @CoachWalters81 - he is a damn good Football Coach. Zephs ultimately pulled away in 43-28 W, on to D11 5A Finals. Dogmanits knew they could've used a big return early to get it started, Calcano did, too.
