the only other example of this i can think of is that most seem to like WFM's Aerial more than Aerial Rebuild. But even then Calibarn has a very strong fanbase.

is the 00 Gundam/00 Raiser a well-liked ms? My impression of its reception (as someone who's only seen a couple episodes of 00) is that 00 is one of the few Gundam shows where people universally seem to like the first protagonist suit more. I always see love for Exia but not 00.

I’m an artist. I understand how light works. I know the dress is blue and black, I’ve ONLY ever seen it as blue and black… I cannot even comprehend how people see it as white and gold, I’ve NEVER been able to trick my brain into seeing it that way, I’ve never understood how people see white and gold, I thought for the longest time that people were making it up for attention or something.
