@nb1972 Neil, I haven’t seen anything about former listeners of #forgotten80s lying about the accusations that have been made. But seeing as those accusations cover an extensive period of time, it has to be the dumbest of takes to believe that they are indeed lying. IMHO of course.

I don’t get why anyone would think that people are lying about the #forgotten80s situation. Everyone loved the show, they would hardly do this just to get it cancelled!

I’ve met many great people via #forgotten80s but I’m done with the show. (Not the people).

@MsSpydaSam Hi Sam. There are lots of tweets about this over the course of yesterday's show and some from the week before, with women saying they were being harassed through direct messages. Matthew seems to have disappeared on here and the Facebook account is down as well.

Time to bow out of Forgotten 80s after learning of the accounts of sexual harassment by the host. Solidarity with those who were targeted. It's a lovely community so I hope to continue seeing you all on the Mad Wasp and Phonic shows. #forgotten80s

I too, will no longer tune in to #forgotten80s I'm eager to join the gang at #Sts70s If you'll have me? 😉 It's much more where my influences lie. But that isn't the issue here. The people that I call friends. Their welfare, is more important than anything else ❤️

Good evening everyone. I'm not listening to the show tonight nor will I again. As much as I've loved this show in the past, I cannot support something that has been a vehicle for unsolicited predatory behaviour by its host. My solidarity is with the affected women. #forgotten80s
