Hey @Sportsnet do you actually have a customer support department? You have a chat bot that doesn't work, a form that appears to go nowhere, and no other way to contact the company to fix a problem you're causing. Your antiquated tech is blocking access to games we've paid for.

BREAKING: Neuralink enabled a paralyzed ALS patient to control a robotic arm and feed himself using only his thoughts. What Neuralink is doing isn’t just innovation, it’s humanity redefining what’s possible.

Here's a happy-go-lucky 🎶 parody about the way that @RobertKennedyJr is now collapsing American healthcare - based off #PaulSimon's toe-tapping "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard". It's called: "Measles and Polio Down in the Schoolyard."

Just a little reminder...
Brian Krassenstein@krassenstein

This is sickeningly chilling: Adolf Hitler’s rise to power was marked by a systematic campaign to dismantle democratic institutions, suppress dissent, and undermined democratic elections, while dehumanizing minority groups. Shortly after taking power in 1933, Hitler’s regime began reshaping how German history and culture were presented to the public while demanding loyalty instead of institutional allegiance. The Nazis purged museums, universities, libraries, and cultural institutions of anything that contradicted their ideology. School curricula and museum exhibits were rewritten to glorify the Aryan race and erase Germany’s responsibility for World War I. Any content deemed "degenerate" or "un-German" was removed. Hitler then undermined judicial independence by pressuring judges to conform to Nazi ideology and calling for the expulsion of those judges who did not. Hitler and his propaganda machine frequently claimed that protesters and political opponents were not genuine, but rather paid agitators working for foreign interests—especially Communists and Jews. This narrative helped justify violent crackdowns and mass arrests. His regime also crushed independent journalism, replacing it with tightly controlled propaganda that manipulated public opinion. Hitler sent thousands of people who were perceived threats to concentration camps without trials or due process. Most significantly, he cast aside the constitutional limits of the Weimar Republic, which destroyed any remaining constitutional limits on his rule.

Canada vs. USA – The Coldest War Nobody Noticed So let me get this straight: America tried to alpha a country whose most aggressive export is Ryan Reynolds… and still lost? Trump plays chicken with Justin Trudeau’s accountant… and ends up blinking when Canadian business packs its bags for Europe. Which is poetic, really—because while the U.S. flexed with red hats and reality-TV diplomacy, Canada just quietly said: “Yeah, we’re good, thanks. We’ll take our cheese and clean money elsewhere.” …which, let’s be honest, is the most Canadian mic drop in history. No yelling. No threats. Just a soft goodbye and a signed trade deal with Brussels. And the best part? Nobody noticed. Because the U.S. foreign policy machine is like a toddler with a lighter: starts a fire, gets distracted by something shiny, then denies it ever happened. Meanwhile Canada just stood there like: “Listen, we don’t do invasions or coups, but we will redirect our dairy exports if you get weird, bro.” That’s Canadian warfare—passive-aggressive trade diplomacy with a smile and a legal brief. And now? Trump looks weak, the U.S. looks ridiculous, and Canada gets to look like the one adult in the room who didn’t show up drunk to the PTA meeting. When a country known for poutine and politeness spanks the U.S. with soft-power economics, it’s not just a diplomatic loss— it’s a masterclass in how to win without making noise. Footnote: You know we're in a geopolitical clown show when the country famous for flannel and free healthcare outmaneuvers the self-proclaimed greatest nation on Earth with tariffs and better manners. P.S. And before anyone laughs off Canada as just snow, flannel, and frozen apologies— let’s not forget: This is a country sitting on oceans of oil, mountains of minerals, forests the size of small nations, and a tech sector that actually believes in math. They build planes, launch satellites, grow half the world’s lentils, and still have enough left over to export politeness and indie folk bands. So no—Canada didn’t win this little trade war with just cheese and charm. They won it with a diversified economy, a functioning bureaucracy, and the quiet confidence of a country that doesn’t need to shout to be taken seriously.

@AlexUsherHESA's timely blog today answers the question I've been wondering a lot as we look around the province and wonder which uni or college will go bankrupt next; what happens now when an institution runs out of cash (hint: it's not good) higheredstrategy.com/what-people-ge…

A question for the Twitterverse (X-verse??). I'm looking for some examples of AI being used effectively as #assistivetechnology - there is lots of speculative stuff around and I see huge potential, but wondering what concrete examples people have #Accessibility #AI
