@techteach_csub We cannot assume that our students will be able to complete an at home assignment that requires the internet. Offering tech time in class to complete assignments, inviting parents to use tech at school and even holding workshops would help bridge the gap. #techquestportfolio13

@xgonzalez24 I agree. I often hear people assuming that students have access to online resources because they have a smart phone. This is such a facade as we do not know the true technology situation going on at home. #techquestportfolio13

@techteach_csub I think that one of the best ways to teach this sort of thing is to make the students aware of conduct expectations as well as the danger of the internet and how to avoid it, and then essentially let them explore, lead by their own curiosity. #Techquestportfolio12

@techteach_csub I think doing whole class discussions would be an effective way to introduce the topic and discuss the different categories. Small groups or one on one would also be beneficial to reiterate and show examples of what to avoid and look for. #techquestportfolio12

@cavazos_haley I love your idea of using it for extra credit! Tons of students love extra credit and this would be a great way to get them practicing and furthering their learning. Its a win/win. #techquestportfolio11

I would incorporate Khan Academy into my classroom as extra credit. This is a great tool for students to used to review material and make sure they have a better understanding of the topic that we're learning about. This could motivate students to learn more #techquestportfolio11

@techteach_csub Khan Academy is an amazing site. I would use this as a tool to help develop mastery of content. This site would also be very useful for parent usage--parents would be able to learn the content and help their child if needed. #techquestportfolio11

@techteach_csub I think the fundamental unit would, of course, be a great place to start. I looked through a couple of them and completed the bring meetings online lesson. This makes it easy for people to meet even with conflicting schedules. #techquestportfolio10
