Don’t forget atrial fibrillation where patients with stage 1 AF and stage 2 AF have actually never had AF with a call for “heightened surveillance” in patients in stage 2.

A new definition “obesity” so that almost everyone has it. To go with a new definition of “hypertension” so that almost everyone has it. Along with “pre-diabetes” and “stage 1-2 CKD.” Very soon there will be no American left without a “chronic disease” that requires a lifetime of pills and shots to “treat.” Everyone get the business model?

@syamkumarmd I’m not sure you can say this is sinus node dysfunction. Looks like an accelerated junctional rhythm with retrograde atrial activation although this could also be a slow reentrant mechanism as well. I would exercise them to see if the sinus node usurps the rhythm.
