Every spring break, students from @psunavigators travel to NC to be the hands and feet of Jesus at one of our rebuild centers. This is the third trip for Anna Raquel “I love to serve people who need hope because the Lord changed my life and I need to show His love to others.”

With the possibility of severe weather hitting NC tomorrow, March 16, we are placing all Disaster Response volunteers on ALERT. Stay tuned for email updates regarding potential deployment or damage assessments.

We’re grateful to the hundreds of volunteers who served in Jamaica and other Caribbean islands in the aftermath of Hurricane Mellisa. Teams repaired homes, constructed tiny houses and shared the love of Jesus with homeowners and neighbors. Thank you for being His hands and feet.

Dale Duncan was recognized at the Spruce Pine Rebuild Center for his years of service as a volunteer and leader with Baptists on Mission. The Dale Duncan Prayer Room at the center is a testimony to decades of willingness to go wherever and whenever the call came in.

For the medical team, home visits are another opportunity to share the love of a heavenly father in the Roma camp. Unloved and mistreated for centuries, Roma often don't have the opportunity to seek quality health care so this it's another chance to be His hands and feet.

Every aspect of Medical Missions is love in action. From the very first stage of checking vital signs all the way through to seeing a physician and discussing their medicines, volunteers offer hope with every conversation, hug and prayer.

What does it look like to be on a medical mission trip in Romania? It's a packed church with providers, nurses and pharmacists, children and praying with each patient. Caring for physical needs often leads to opportunities of introducing people to the One who can heal far more.

When Hurricane Helene tried to wash everything away, volunteers not only rebuilt Stephanie's home but restored her hope. And for that, she'll be eternally grateful.
