@LatFilosof Philosophers are short sighted. Trying to subject unfathomable divine creation to measly human reasoning. Divine is beyond comprehension as you think: angels (made of light, no will) and Jinn (made of fire, with will). What other creations are there? Other dimensions, math..?

Unpopular opinion, but this is actually a good question. It is of course an atrocious argument if you understand what is meant by ”God”, but for someone not well versed in the metaphysics of Aristotle and Aquinas, it’s actually not something unreasonable to say.

@mrdoornbos ZX81 was a great to have at home and play with. I duplicated a blackjack program on it and people in 1982-84 were quite amazed. The keyboard flex push connector was very temperamental. I have it somewhere in the house in a box.

And we're being told, with a straight face, that the chronic disease epidemic which appeared in the last 4 seconds is caused by the food we've been eating for the entire 24 hours. The diseases arrived with the seed oils. The grains. The sugar. The processed convenience food. The meat was here the whole time. Watching the rest of it move in.

Opening statement: “But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say?” Grab that phrase: our right - unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God. And Paul uses the first of a series of verbs; this one happens to be sunistēmi, translated demonstrates in the New American Standard. It is a verb that means to disclose, to reveal, to put on display, to show. Our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God. Another way to say that would be, would you really understand the righteousness of God if you didn’t understand unrighteousness? Isn’t there something to be gained by the contrast? Paul has been showing that God is faithful to His promises to Israel, and their sin and unbelief cannot alter God’s covenant, cannot alter God’s faithfulness.

@Sean_McDowell It depends on its training. I'm sure someone is going to train its AI personality to think (compute) that it is conscious and alive. Think how kids are taught and "indoctrinated" to believe many falsities.
