This is regarding my order for a Lenovo PC which was purchased recently from your website. After setting it up, we noticed that it took a lot of time to wake up from sleep mode (significantly slower than industry norms). I reported this issue as soon as I could, and after a lot of time-wasting, they assigned an engineer to diagnose the problem. They however, have concluded that there is no problem with the machine. I am the consumer, and I must conclude that there is no problem, not Lenovo. The PC takes around 8 to 18 seconds to wake up, and this is disrupting my routine. I have recorded a video of the system taking 18 seconds to wake up. I have documented all the interactions with Lenovo Support and one of your executives has told me that the engineer would visit and proceed with the DOA procedure. Now after the so-called diagnosis, the work order has been falsely closed as "resolved" without my consent or signature. I told the engineer that I would not sign any document. He spoke with the other guy on the phone and casually told me that he would anyway close the call without my consent. This raises serious concerns about service ethics and consumer rights. The same was the case with the previously purchased machine. That one took a lot of time and sometimes, it failed to wake up and we had to forcefully turn it off. That case was ruled out as a hardware defect. This is almost the same, so this must be a hardware issue. There's no issue with the OS as we had already spoken with Microsoft Support and concluded that the behaviour is abnormal. Our 4-year-old Lenovo desktop takes way less time to wake up despite having old hardware. I will push back against Lenovo until the defective product is taken back.
