Dissertation data collection: complete 🥲

Today was my final lab meeting with my amazing team of undergraduate students! Collectively, they contributed EIGHT HUNDRED HOURS of their time towards data collection for my dissertation. They are the most dedicated, knowledgeable, and kind RAs I could have asked for. Love you!!

new paper: "Great Gray Owls hunting voles under snow hover to defeat an acoustic mirage" was just published! royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rs… In it, we ask: how does great gray owl hunt thru snow? Part of the answer is this enormous facial disc they have (largest of any owl species)
