Making public transport free, for as long as this crisis goes on for, must be on the table at National Cabinet today. This would be immediate cost-of-living relief, and take the pressure off fuel supplies. Billionaires took us to war, and the rest of us are paying for it.

The system funnels war profits to the wealthiest 1%. While the average billionaire makes $600k a day, everyday people struggle to keep their heads above water. No illegal forever wars. Tax the 1%.

It's promising that the gov is rethinking this after they blocked a gas tax last week. They've got the votes needed for a tax on exports of at least 25% - raising billions that could fund cost of living help, like free public transport during the fuel crisis. Let's get it done.

I've written to the PM offering to pass a 25% gas export tax in the next two weeks. Rich gas corps are making billions off this war, get gas for free, and pay almost no tax. That's money better spent helping people. No more free ride for gas corps while people go backwards.
