The more I learn about habits, the less I believe motivation is the answer. Simple systems beat temporary motivation almost every time.

I'm learning that building a product is only half the challenge. Helping people actually use it every day is the other half.

Consistency rarely disappears overnight. It usually fades one small excuse at a time.

What usually breaks your habits? • Lack of time • Forgetting • Losing motivation • Too much complexity

What is the strangest behaviour your product asks users to change?

A habit tracker shouldn't just record your progress. It should make you want to come back tomorrow.

The hardest part of building a habit app isn't writing the code. It's understanding why people stop after a few days.

Building in public means showing the awkward middle: Not just the launch. Not just the revenue. The unfinished product, uncertain decisions and lessons that cost time.
