Accountability and transparency guide every decision we make in service to the people of Machakos County. Today, I appeared before the Senate Public Accounts Committee to discuss the Auditor-General’s report for the Financial Year 2024/2025. I informed the Committee that, as a result of their invitations, my administration has been able to receive clean audit reports in the following county entities: • Receiver of Revenue (RoR) • Machakos County Bursary Fund • Machakos County Climate Change Fund • Mwala Level IV Hospital The Committee noted that my administration has been very consistent in honoring Senate invitations in the past. The Auditor-General also expressed satisfaction with our financial stewardship so far and acknowledged the significant improvements my administration has made in financial accountability. We will continue strengthening our systems and ensuring that good governance delivers real and tangible benefits to the people of Machakos County.
