@Tom97991207 @EBraeden I wonder how that must feel for Air Canada. That feeling of never being satisfied. I think I understand though, I tried to drink only caffeine free coffee for a while.

@EBraeden Eric, we Canadians know, and now unfortunately you now know as well, that Air Canada's motto is "we're not satisfied, until you're not satisfied."

Thrilled that my recent article was selected as Paper of the Month at Physiological Measurement. We used heart rate variability to retrospectively match timepoints and synchronize over 20k hours of EEG with other physiological waveforms. #pedsicu #ICU #EEG

Read the article of the month in PM, the @ipemnews @IOPPublishing international, peer-reviewed journal 'The truth Hertz—synchronization of electroencephalogram signals with physiological waveforms recorded in an intensive care unit' iopscience.iop.org/article/10.108…

@CLEinBNE @ABSStats When you came up with that list why did you incorporate the knowledge that they had two children but not the knowledge that at least one of them was a boy? That would have ruled out the G/G option from your list.

@ABSStats I believe it's 1/3. There are 4 possible combinations of births involving two kids because we don't know who was born first, only that there's one boy (B). - B/B - B/G - G/B - G/G There are three scenarios here where there is at least one boy. Only one has two boys. Correct?

@ABSStats Assuming the range of possible values was 0-9 inclusive, then the chance of randomly generating that exact sequence of numbers was 1 in 10^12. This was literally a one-in-a-trillion event! It doesn't get much more statistically special than that!

🎨What's this? Wrong answers only. Hint: it's some output from a global atmospheric model...

S.K. Warne dead at 52, can not believe it. Such a tragic loss to the cricketing and sporting world. The best ever and larger than life. Shocking news.

@JorgeBarrera Can we give this man the Order of Canada?! The irony of them being unhappy with his noise, the fact she thinks she can get in his face with no repercussions, STAGGERING

@stowball I always found it counter-intuitive that the word "phonetically" isn't pronounced phonetically.

It really bugs me when systemic mispronunciations result in misspellings 2 regular examples: Australians don't say the "e" in nectarine, so there are misspelled "nectarin" signs everywhere Americans thought the "a" in paedophile was unnecessary so now pronounce it ped-ophile

Can’t believe that the term “British Empire” in #CBE or #OBE isn’t more criticised or rejected. All the credits to those who’ve been announced, but instead, what about “Commander of the British …”
