I’m excited that @MargaretAtwood is coming to lecture at @OregonState this month, so I reread The Handmaid’s Tale since it had been several years. In retrospect, reading it right before such a high-stakes election may not have been the best for my anxiety… 😅

On Election Day 2016, I presented at a national conference to about 80 higher ed professionals & the tension in the room was palpable. Tomorrow on Election Day 2024, I’ll be presenting again, this time on my PhD research. Hoping to create a calming space away from the noise 💗
