@tommsmith1993 I feel this so much, I had a couple of nearly moments in the last year or so, to the point that I couldn't think I could juggle things, but I've recently jumped in with both feet, and wrapped my next short last Wednesday and the fire is back 🔥

Feeling the need to go back to basics with my filmmaking. Having both lost my motivation and stride for it lately, it's time to ignite that flame and finally get the work going again. No more sitting around waiting for someone to give me the work. I'll create it myself.

Just saw that two producers nominated for the palm d’or this year are the ones who asked me to write a feature film script for free after stringing me along for months with promises of pay. Very disappointing… but good for them I guess? #cannes #writing

@ThomasElliottG If you've not done anything to raise funds for it previously there is no wrong answer in that scenario, I've seen some films that have tried to crowdfund to shoot and then crowdfund to post, and I just think there was no real plan
