Nah, not like China of the 1950’s. They have the scale of production now, but they have very low quality standards for nationals. They dismisses cases if the counterfeits don’t show “immediate harm”. It’s much worse than we’re lead to believe. Some markets had ~85% mislabel rates. Red meats saw ~ 40% for illegal additives in some places (ours is below 1%) Their concrete & steel industries have the exact same issues.
