1.) Regime Change—freeing the Iranian ppl from the lives of oppression they are living? The Ayatollah was eliminated, as were top IRGC officials and domestic security leaders. Total system regime change is still hopefully in the cards, but this will take internal forces with massive external support. The Iranian Regime's proxies have been dealt significant blows, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. Iran has drawn the ire of the Gulf countries. Iran has been severely weakened on the global stage. Just look at what happened to Assad in Syria. Russia is helping, but they're tied up in Ukraine. China is offering Tehran token support. Regime change did happen. It's just not the seismic change, which may take some time. Although some could say it was quite literally a seismic change with the amount of firepower used to eliminate the head of the snake—the Ayatollah. 2.) Elimination of all nuclear material & capabilities—freeing the world of that threat by regime? This remains to be seen, but appears to be on the table. 3.) Something changes with the Strait that wasn’t in place before? This also remains to be seen, but President Trump seems dedicated to solving this issue. He's been talking about it since the 1980s, before you were at Northern Iowa and before I was Mayor.
