Not only you have to be a medic, now you have to be a business person, athlete, volunteer, musician, actor, and run a business?! yorksandhumberdeanery.nhs.uk/sites/default/… I feel bad for the applicants 😩

@CapitalistFraud @strugglingmeds2 This is not helpful. Regardless of your opinion of mental health services this person is in distress and needs support and compassion, not for their post to be used as an opportunity to spread an agenda.
English

@strugglingmeds2 So sorry you feel this way. I know it feels like the right option and things must be so intolerable for you but suicide is not the right option. I have seen your other posts about difficulties getting help, but is there anyone you can speak to? Friends/Crisis team/Samaritans?

@JackieHaworth @rcpsych @PortfolioOnline Perhaps email curricula@rcpsych.ac.uk with your feedback. (The Portfolio team implement what the college have stipulated so I think it makes sense to raise issues directly with the college)
English

@JackieHaworth @rcpsych @PortfolioOnline Again, I'm just pointing out this was their intention from the beginning of the implementation of the new curriculum and not just this August with the portfolio updates. I don't agree with it.
English

@JackieHaworth @rcpsych @PortfolioOnline I don't disagree with you at all - just pointing out that it was meant to be this way from the start. Agree it's not helpful to trainees that this obviously wasn't explicit enough and that should definitely be fed back along with the fact that the system itself is inflexible.
English

@JackieHaworth @rcpsych @PortfolioOnline It is not great that it's changing so much do appreciate that and it takes a lot of effort to keep up with it.
English

@JackieHaworth @rcpsych @PortfolioOnline The guidance for new curriculum has always been to link 1 PDP item to 1 HLO so while you could technically do that it wasn't the advised method. This is the e-learning that has been in place since its implementation: rise.articulate.com/share/giI5LPtj…
Not saying it's good but it's not new
English

@JackieHaworth @rcpsych @PortfolioOnline Previously (as per the e-learning) you were supposed to name each PDP item with the name of a HLO and link only to capabilities in that HLO. As you say it didn't restrict you from linking to other HLOs (which it now does) but this was always their intention unfortunately
