Our fourth ask ahead of the general election is for a focus on creating the conditions for growth. 📈 Our members have highlighted the need for business rates reform and stable funding for the public sector to support productivity in the private sector.

🗣 Our third ask ahead of the general election is to reduce child poverty levels and increase participation.   We must see action to make sure children in the region can access opportunities and have the same life chances as everyone else.

🗣 Our second ask ahead of the general election is for increased investment to the North East. This is vital for the region’s economy and will help to create well-paid jobs and new opportunities. 🧵
