@needah1t @1mn0tdaredevil The foggy flashbacks and vanessa flashbacks don't take place at the same time. 2 different flashbacks

Thematically, it's a very strong episode with good emotional core, so the praise from critics mostly deserved. But timeline was so confusing (when it wasn't tho) I spend half of Ep5 wondering how exactly does it fit the global picture, and it really spoiled the overall impression

@notjustbtstras1 it would be comparable if the dude Karen shot was unarmed and she mag-dumped him but it was one bullet fired and it hit the guy in armor, we haven't even had the guy's death confirmed either I dont think (not that im saying he's *not* dead just food for thought)

@notjustbtstras1 my point still stands, the ninja was on the ground and could have been knocked out, instead she executed him by slitting his throat open, Karen shot a rent a cop in self defense. plus the ninja was a child, plus he wasn't yakuza he was a Hand ninja

Matt not addressing Karen kiIIing a AVTF agent is odd. When Elektra kiIIed a Yakuza member it created conflict in MattElektras relationship that was addressed. It feels like the narrative is scared of more realistic confrontation between Matt and Karen bc the illusion falls apart

so far every episode of born again season 2 has left me so excited for the next episode it genuinely, no exaggeration almost puts me into a panic attack

i don't even know what to say, just watch it
