The growers have started now marking their trees, one of the first steps of your trees journey to your home. The trees are selected and marked in the field to our specifications to ensure you receive the perfect tree.

It’s now time for growers to shear their Fraser Firs. This is often done with a shearing knife and is not for the faint hearted! Check out this video of our grower demonstrating how this is done. Would you fancy a go? ⚔️

Did you know we also do Display Trees? We supply trees up to 30ft tall to some of our customers, how many years do you think it has taken for a tree this big to grow?

Spring is in the air, this means the trees are growing and are in full flush! It is now the perfect time for the growers to start bud pinching, they will be busy doing this over the next few weeks to help their trees form the beautiful A-line shape we all know and love.

The growers are busy fertilising to ensure your trees have a luscious green colour. They also rely on natural resources such as ladybirds who are a great natural aphid controller.

With the weather starting to get warmer and the ground beginning to dry up, the growers are preparing to start their Spring planting. Did you know they plant 2 trees for every tree they harvest? The trees they are planting this year will be ready for harvesting in 2033! 🌲
