Hey #Australia, cool bird alert! This dark morph Parasitic Jaeger (aka #Arctic Skua) carrying a satellite tag from #Alaska arrived in Oz four days ago. It is super close to the coast. Part of @MigConnectivity.

@needmarine @MigConnectivity @SMBC When I was in NZ a few weeks ago I saw “Arctic Skuas” on three separate occasions, including one from the lawn of our Airbnb. It was pretty amazing seeing these birds in the Southern Hemisphere!
