🗣️ I’ve been fine with every new bending trick until earthbenders invented lava bending. How is that even related to earth? What’s its link to fire? Shouldn’t an earthbender need a firebender to cook? Lava bending should’ve been the firebenders sub element. Is the fandom sleeping on this?

@Entr0zy @JamStan1978 @ChibRisky So lava is essentially still earth, just really hot earth. It just happens to be a vehicle for the fire to ride on. On the other hand, the fire can’t be a vehicle for earth and it can’t conduct its movement .

@Entr0zy @JamStan1978 @ChibRisky Lava isn’t earth mixed with fire. It’s molten rock. The heat comes from the Earth’s internal heat ,radioactive decay and leftover heat from when the Earth formed, not from fire. Lava can START fires because it’s extremely hot, but fire isn’t an ingredient in lava.

Guys, the animation took a nose dive for Seven Havens. If you think this looks acceptable i don't know what to tell you. Korra for all it's flaws (many) was a FAR MORE ambitious looking production than this. This looks like something Netflix would dump on their platform.
