To ENHYPEN and ENGENE’s dependable leader, JUNGWON, We don’t know if you’ll ever read this, but after your live earlier, we felt like we had to say this. More than anything, we just want to say thank you. Watching your live earlier was very heartbreaking. Not because of what you said, but because you were put in a position where you had to say it in the first place. You should have been talking about the tour, sharing happy memories, and looking forward to what’s next. Instead, you had to sit there and ask people to respect the team that all six of you have fought so hard to protect and keep together. No leader should ever have to defend the people he loves from those who claim to love them too. We’ve always admired how steady you are. When things get loud, you never let them shake you. You always know what needs to be said, and earlier was no different. You’ve always put your members first, and that’s why you’ve become someone both ENHYPEN and ENGENEs can rely on. Today reminded us of that all over again. When you said you had talked with the members before going live and that you were speaking on behalf of all six of you, it made us realize this wasn’t just your decision. It was something all six of you had been living with until staying silent was no longer an option. The members trusted you to speak for all of them, and you did so with so much care. You weren’t speaking because you wanted to argue with anyone. You spoke because you wanted to protect ENHYPEN. You wanted to protect your members, your concerts, and even ENGENEs from being hurt again. Even in that moment, you were still thinking about everyone else before yourself. We don’t know if the people you were trying to reach will listen. We can only hope they do. But we want you to know that your message wasn’t only heard by the people who needed to be corrected. It also reached the ENGENEs who chose to listen instead of speaking over you. It reached the people who have spent months reminding others that respecting ENHYPEN also means respecting the voices of the six people standing on that stage. There are people who continue to hide behind the name “ENGENE” while repeatedly disregarding everything you’ve asked for. They call it love, but love doesn’t ignore your words, cross your boundaries, or make you sit in front of a camera just to ask for basic respect. We’re grateful you finally drew that line. As a fanbase, we want to make you one promise. Today is the day we cement Jungwon in the hall of fame for being one of the bravest and best leaders in the entire history of kpop. It takes a real man to set the record straight and not shy away from difficult topic even though it is hard and could potentially bring him hate. My respect for him grew a hundred folds.

ENHYPEN's Jungwon addresses the group's six-member lineup and the ongoing fan disputes surrounding it during his recent live: "Because we hadn't addressed it directly until now, many people felt we never properly acknowledged it, leading some to deny the current ENHYPEN, talking about the number of the members. (..) ENHYPEN is six members now. (..) I understand it, but it's not good to see fans fighting over things like this. Honestly, it doesn't look good, and it ends up disrupting the performances as well. No one wants to fight over this, not the company, not the fans, and not us the members."

#JUNGWON’s message during his live: Everyone, there’s something I really feel I need to say, and honestly, this is the reason I started this live. I don’t think this is something we can just ignore and move past, especially since Weverse translations are available now. I know there are a lot of people who really loved our past, and I understand that. There are many people who still love how we used to be. But there also seem to be many people who continue to deny the current ENHYPEN or refuse to accept who we are now. Since we hadn’t clearly addressed this before, some people have been saying that we never gave a proper statement, and they’ve continued bringing up the number of members. Of course, I understand the feelings of those who loved ENHYPEN before. But now… ENHYPEN is six members, everyone. ENHYPEN is six members. I understand why some people still do things like certain fan chants at concerts because we hadn’t clearly said anything until now. I understand that. But it’s really not nice to see ENGENEs fighting among themselves because of this. To be completely honest, it also disrupts our performances. It really does. Now that I’ve clearly said this today, I think anyone who truly likes ENHYPEN and supports us will know how they should act going forward. I’m going to be very clear because I don’t want to speak vaguely anymore. When people keep saying things like ‘ENHYPEN is seven,’ all it does is cause fights within our fandom. No one wants ENGENEs to fight each other. The company doesn’t want that. ENGENEs don’t want that. And most importantly, the six of us don’t want that.
