Really? It's progress, but I feel like this isn't that new of an idea. We've been talking about slack integrations, llm context and collaborative experiences forever.
Also, this looks like an example of prompting.

This is a new paradigm for interacting with Claude that is significantly more "inline" with all the other human activity org-wide. Once you do all of the under the hood engineering work to make this "just work" (e.g. across tools, integrations, compute environments, memory, security, etc.), Claude basically joins the team in a seamless way - you can talk to it as you would talk to a person and it can help with a very large variety of workloads. Imo this is the 3rd major redesign of LLM UIUX. The first paradigm was that the LLM is a website you go to, the second was that it is an app you download to your computer. This third one is that it is a self-contained, persistent, asynchronous entity with org-wide tools and context, working alongside teams of humans. It really takes a while to wrap your head around it, but it works and it is awesome.

Have seen this sentiment a lot lately.
Too many people submitting slop PRs for OSS so Hashimoto poisons his agents md.
But there are certainly people who are just trying to learn, so how do you even differentiate between them?
I think the responsibility is on the learner. I have a non tech friend who works in a call center, who made a PR and got ripped a new ass by the maintainers. Slop code, rebase that lost a commit.
But he’s a persistent dude, he told me he’s gonna figure out what he did wrong and prove them wrong. I respect it.
I think people forget, getting better is more of an attitude problem than an intelligence one.
Also this dude just really loves the idea of coding, didn’t even graduate high school.

The AI policy is a lot kinder and does educate on what they should be doing. This is a fall through for people who don’t read. Unfortunately the truly mountain pile of complete dogshit that AI has allowed unqualified people to produce has made it impossible to judge who is worth coaching and not (there’s too many). AI ruined this.

It would be the funniest outcome for sure.
