【ガソリン補助月5,000億円？】 トランプ大統領の演説後、さらに原油価格が上がっている。現在、WTI原油先物は112ドルを超えている。 今朝の日経新聞は、ガソリンの補助金が月5000億円規模になると報じている。 国民民主党が提案している約2兆円のエネルギー対策では、ガソリンや軽油の補助金分として月額3000億円強を充てるとして計算している。 仮にガソリン補助だけで月5000億円かかるのであれば、そこに軽油、航空機燃料、電気代やガス代の補助を加えれば、1カ月で1兆円近くになる。そうなれば、現在約1兆円ある基金は、早ければゴールデンウィーク後には消えてなくなる。 中小企業の資金繰り対策が厳しくなっているとの声も届いている。 それにもかかわらず、現在議論されている来年度予算案には、イラン情勢の緊迫化に対応する経費が1円も入っていない。 せめてエネルギー対策だけでも、予算案を増額修正すべきではないか。また同時に、節約や節電のお願いに着手する準備もそろそろ必要だろう。 最後の最後まで与野党の合意を求めて努力したい。 最優先は国民生活の安定だ。 #国民民主党

Hearty Homestyle Beef Stew with Root Vegetables Ingredients: 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 medium onions, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 3 large carrots, peeled and sliced 3 parsnips, peeled and sliced 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed 4 cups beef broth 2 tablespoons tomato paste 1 teaspoon dried thyme 2 bay leaves Salt and pepper to taste Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish) Directions: Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef chunks and brown on all sides. Remove the beef and set aside. In the same pot, add the onions and garlic, sautéing until onions are translucent. Return the beef to the pot along with carrots, parsnips, and potatoes. Stir in beef broth, and tomato paste. Season with thyme, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer covered for about 1.5 hours, or until the beef is tender and the vegetables are cooked through. Remove bay leaves, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve warm.
