Affectionate commentary on events in Ramsay Street - the street with more plot holes than pot holes.

@for_neighbours Surely someone can get down there and raid the sign out of the skip. It's an iconic piece of history.

This just sums up how badly #Neighbours continues to be disrespected by idiots with no appreciation of its heritage or value.

So here's to you Neighbours 🥂 Such an influential show on my life and will be missed, but how lucky were we to get as much as we did? Let's all wave to the show as it drives off in a minicab (but we don't have to never speak of it again).

It's hard to imagine Neighbours without the Varga-Murphys. They and so many of the revival era characters have been a joy to watch. If for no other reason alone I'm very glad the revival happened, whatever you think of how it went out.

I'm so glad the revival happened. Did it end in a nice bow? Not really, it was rushed and a hot mess, much like a lot of the revival. But for all its faults we got so many great characters that the show is much richer for.

I quite liked the open ended ending. I very much doubt we'll see any more in any form but I like that they left it open that it could come back as it was or as something completely different.

So, the finale. More like a fine-ale. It was fine. Nothing special. I'm glad we didn't get a huge bash like last time. Enjoyed the returnee cameos.

Feels odd having an account designed to pass commentary on new episodes when there aren't any new episodes. Maybe I'll have to start dipping into some classics.

Did anybody else go to watch Neighbours tonight then remembered and went 'oh'.

It wouldn't be Neighbours without one last typo on the credits. Was great to see Jimmy William back!

Well, at least we got a nice ending to the Varga-Murphys. Was not expecting one more emotional trauma episode today. Can we just please now have a couple of low key drama free episodes to wrap things into a bow? Is that too much to ask?

This is the strangest ending to the show. I wasn't expecting a big celebration like the last time but at least some form of winding down and wrapping up. Instead it seems like it's good to be a load of hanging plot threads and then it just sort of stops. Very odd.

I hope there are some surprises yet but it feels like Neighbours is going to end on such a downer compared to the celebration we had last time.

It’s imperative that we find out before The End just what this shop (“”) front is really about #Neighbours

I love the consistency of the Rodwells not giving much of a shit about Ramsay Street. Four years ago they were all 'well if everyone else is moving I guess we might as well too' now it's 'if everyone else is fighting to stay we might as well too'. but it's so half hearted!

2/ I think what sets it apart from other soap affairs is how understated and real the acting and directing has been. EastEnders or Corrie would be all screaming and shouting and gross sex scenes, but Neighbours has played it raw and emotional and realistic(ish).

1/ From the time I first started watching soaps I found 'affair' storylines incredibly dull. I don't know if it's the ridiculousness of it or what but the Andrew/Holly plot might be the first one I've found genuinely enjoyable.
