Finished Egghead Island Arc - 8.5/10 ✅ . The usage of G5 was overblown, the antagonist cast lacked depth, and the Egghead Incident didn’t quite meet my expectations all the way; but even though there were quite a few things I didn’t like, on the whole my critiques were mostly annoyances at best . From the amazing intertwining of outside world events which was unlike anything we’ve seen before to the peak of Egghead which was Kuma’s backstory; this arc delivered a cathartic story of hope, faith, and humanity that surpasses some of One Piece’s best

The stakes were high for @onepiecenetflix. To do it justice we knew it'd cost. We truly believed with enough passion, heart & skill we could make a show that would satisfy existing fanbase AND appeal to a wider audience, who'd fall in love with our cast & creative storytelling

Oda himself personally selected her to play Vivi. How on earth can that be wrong casting? The actual creator of the series wanted her to play the role.
I understand that people just want proper and respectful representation of Arabian culture in media, and that's entirely fair and valid.
However, we can't tell the creator of a series that he's wrong about his own vision.
