The American Conference is changing their tournament format multiple sources have confirmed to me. The new tournament format will copy the WAC Tournament Format where the 1 and 2 seed will receive a double bye and the 3 and 4 seed will receive a single bye. The 5-8 seeds will play a single elimination game after that it becomes a double elimination bracket.

The 2021 schedule was similar to that and they used the bubbles in Indianapolis due to COVID. First Four Wed/Thur First Round Fri/Sat Second Round Sun/Mon Sweet 16 Sat/Sun (with exclusive windows, this was my favorite part) Elite 8 Mon/Tue FF like normal Teams didn’t like the quick turnaround between E8 and FF or this schedule might have stayed.

Just studied the Braves schedule for a few mins. Here's what I noticed. 1. August will have the most home games with 17. 2. May will have the fewest home games with 9. The Braves will play 19 games on the road this month. 3. Outside of the All-Star Break, the Braves will only have off days on Mondays (11) and Thursdays (8). 4. Only 12 games will start later than 9 pm EST. 5. The Braves only have to play on the West Coast in April, May, and June. 6. The Braves won't see the Mets for the first time until June 12th. 7. The Marlins are the first and last NL East opponent the Braves will face during the regular season. 8. Thank God we don't have to start with 7 straight on the West Coast. In fact, the Braves will get an OFF DAY before starting their games against the Dodgers in LA!
