First and foremost, I want to say how sorry I am to deliver this kind of news to ELSE, who have always supported and cherished me. Six years have already passed since I debuted in 2020. Looking back on that time, it is filled with precious memories that I wouldn't trade for anything. So many moments flash through my mind. There were times filled with high expectations, but there were also many times when I had to face the unexpected. While there were days I felt so happy just being able to be together, there were also moments when it was hard to keep my spirits up. Yet, as time went by, the moments of laughing and being happy with ELSE and my fellow members are what come to my mind first, rather than the difficult memories. To be honest, throughout my career, I never really thought of myself as someone who was exceptionally talented. I wasn't always confident, and there weren't many days when I stand on stage feeling fully certain that I was living up to everyone's expectations. Even so, I wanted to show a version of myself that wouldn't embarrass the ELSE who cheer for me, so I constantly reflected on my shortcomings and tried my absolute best in every moment. Throughout that journey, I was deeply grateful for and cherished the fact that there were people who loved and supported me exactly as I am. Even in moments when I wanted to give up, it was thanks to your support that I could find the strength again and give it my all to make it this far. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. After much deliberation, I have decided to choose a new path following the end of this contract. It was not an easy choice, and it is a decision I reached only after questioning myself countless times over a long period. During this process, the times I shared with ELSE and the members kept crossing my mind, and I felt a whirlwind of emotions at the thought of not being able to be together moving forward. I know that some of you might feel regretful, disappointed, or upset by my choice. While I may not be able to fully understand the depth of all your feelings, I am deeply sorry to bring such a heavy heart to those who trusted and supported me, and this will weigh on my heart for a long time. The past six years spent living as BAE173's Yoojun have been the most intense, the most laughter-filled, and the time where I learned the most about love in my entire life. Although I am starting a new chapter, I believe I will be able to move forward with courage and live well because I had those precious years. As I move forward and experience new seasons in life, I believe the warm moments we shared will stay in my heart for a very long time. That is how special BAE173 and ELSE are to me, and ELSE and the members were always there in so many moments of my youth. Though we will now be spending our time in different places, I hope the moments we spent together remain as warm memories for ELSE for a very long time. As for me, whenever a day comes where you cross my mind out of the blue, I think I will naturally find myself reminiscing about the precious moments we shared.
