@neongud @LonginusRecs They don't manage the vinyl pressings for TSTNPOTD, only cassette and CD releases. Last reissue was handled by Poclanos.

@neongud TSTNPOTD is reissued on tape and cassette on a yearly basis. We’ve ordered more copies and expect them next month. V&A / Nebulous You is something we’ll look into repressing, since the albums were only ever pressed as a double issue.

@lil_denmo Walrus - Hikari no kakera is like being crushed by a ten ton truck but very melodic. Contender for heaviest guitar sound in all of shoegaze. Super underrated album. The Angelic Process - Weighing souls with sand is also a great one, especially if you read up on their story.

@SargeantBones @psychocutxx The fact that is’s daylight before you go into the tunnell and when you exit it’s pitch dark always irked me, one of many inconsistencies of this game. Still good but obv the worst of the series.

@psychocutxx The funniest part is that the rain is somehow tied only to this area. Like you can go back 10 meters into the crossroads and no more rain. Literally a cartoonishly big rain cloud above the castle like it's Looney Tunes.

This is unreal. Someone just reimagined Tarkovsky using AI-driven camera motion. What if the camera moved — but still felt like it belonged? Let me show you what that looks like:

@Skizzskizzskizz @dieworkwear This is a single look from one of his over 20 years of runways, it’s not representative of his clothing. Runways are more comparable to art shows, the stuff people buy and wear from him is usually pretty far removed from this (although themes and motifs can be recognized).

I'm tired of getting this quote thrown at me, and I strongly suspect it comes from people who are neither familiar with Rick's work nor would they wear his clothes. People are just fatphobic and want to use a fashion designer to justify their prejudices. 🧵

@frequentflier_ @dieworkwear That’s straight up bullshit. Ann had a distinctly romantic vibe to her designs while Rick Owens leans REALLY heavily into futuristic designs. No one who knows what they are talking about would ever confuse the two, apart from their clothing being mostly monochrome.

@dieworkwear Frankly I don’t understand how Rick Owens is unique at all. It’s basically Ann Dem

@dieworkwear Jean-Michel Frank is the inspiration behind this jacket from Rick Owens, the cropped JMF blazer.

Stylish men who not only repeated outfits but built a brand around a uniform: 1. Jean-Michel Frank: In a 1938 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, this French interior designer said, “Throw out and keep throwing out. Elegance means elimination.” Frank's belief in minimalism extended into his wardrobe. He owned over forty of the same exact gray flannel suit. Each was double-breasted with a 4x2 buttoning configuration (four buttons, two for fastening) and made with a long peak lapel line and no ticket pocket (for the sake of simplicity, we can assume). The lapels were cut relatively straight rather than curved with a belly. The chest was clean, the shoulders soft, and the upper arms a touch full. The result was a silhouette that allowed Frank to look relaxed and comfortable but also gave him great elegance. 2. Johnny Cash: "The man in black" didn't originally choose black for himself. The idea was his tailor's. Cash bought his clothes from a Nashville-based Mexican clothier named Manuel, who was responsible for outfitting the likes of Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, and Little Richard. “I do for artists what they need, not what they think they need,” Manuel once explained in an interview. And for Cash, Manuel delivered nine custom-made outfits, each one made from black fabric. Cash was surprised when he received the first order of all-black clothes. "Brother, how come they're all black?" Manuel joked that there was a sale on black fabric. “I think you’re the man in black," his tailor followed. "You should wear this color. It’s your vibe; it’s your aura. Something tells me you should wear this color." Cash said he would try it. And for the next couple of decades, he appeared on stage in a black button-up shirt, slim black pants, and black boots, making it his trademark. 3. Bill Cunningham: One of the most honest men in fashion, Cunningham once famously said that if you don't take people's money, they can't tell you what to do. He often departed from fashion parties early, taking the photos he needed but not the free gifts (lol when you compare that to today's influencer). He was able to keep his integrity partly because he didn't require much. Cunningham lived in a small loft and cycled around NYC in his signature French blue chore coat, flat cap, and tan chinos. IMO, he's largely the reason why chore coats are so popular today. After his death, many fashion-conscious men started wearing the garment, and it later trickled onto Main Street. 4. Tom Wolfe: For decades, Wolfe was known for wearing his creamy white suits—double-breasted with a 6x2 closure—with a matching white vest, high-necked blue-and-white striped shirt, silk necktie, and pocket square. He was a dandy's dandy, and looked completely comfortable in his clothes. Wolfe said his taste was counter-bohemian. "My white suits came about by accident," he told Time Magazine in 1989. "I had a white suit made that was too hot for summer, so I wore it in December. I found that it really irritated people — I had hit upon this harmless form of aggression!

Sekiro takes place in a fictionalized version of real world history, and Armored Core takes place in a fictionalized version of the real world future, so if you think about it, Armored Core 6 is the Sekiro sequel everyone has been asking for, which explains the posture bar.

Tonight on @wbaltv11: A man with an AR-15 has been showing up for weeks to a school bus drop off for local elementary school students. Parents say their kids are afraid, the man says he’s protesting @GovWesMoore’s new gun control law. You’ll hear from both sides at 5+6pm.
