Ten months ago, @angRchen reported on a challenges to a 2020 paper in Nature that appeared to show that cancer can be detected by scanning the genomes of microbes in the body.
This morning that paper has been retracted. Nature sent me the retraction notice, which is below. It's not up on the site yet.
The challenges were brought by @StevenSalzberg1 and colleagues in a published paper.
